Happy Birthday Nikola Tesla!
I love how Google encorporates a lot of history and special events into their websites without bombarding you with advertisements. It's so easy, they simply just change their Google sign into something relating with the event. Like today, is Nikola Tesla's birthday!
I really loved this art and Google never changes their banner unless it was something important. I was surprised that it was Tesla, the father of electrical and mechanical engineering. We recently learned about the Tesla in Physics last week. One interesting thing about the Tesla is that the Earth's magnetic field is equal to 3.1 e -5 Tesla (that's .000031 T) while the MRI's used in hospitals today range from 0.3 Tesla to 0.5 Tesla. Really strong magnetic fields in those MRI machines stronger than the Earth's magnetic field! Just something interesting I thought I should share.
So Happy Birthday Nikola Tesla! Without you, a lot of things wouldn't be possible today.
