Anniversary date!
Celebrating our anniversary is a little bit of an ordeal since it falls on the 4th of July when everyone gets together for the whole day. So my favorite person and I always celebrate the weekend after the 4th.
For our 4 year anniversary, we had a whole thing planned for Friday but things happened and our minds change so easily. So we decided to go to a microbrew since I've recently gotten into drinking beer and I've always wanted to take him to BJ's Brewhouse because they have awesome pizookie and my favorite person has a crazy sweet tooth. I also haven't been there in about 2 years. So off we went to BJ's Brewhouse in Cupertino, California and it was happy hour!
We had chicken wings for appetizer. I had a huge baked potato and Albert had a steak melt. I've been wondering where I could have huge baked potato ever since a chef from Taxi's in Mercado made himself a baked potato but it wasn't available for purchase. So I was happy that they have baked potato at BJ's. The baked potato was pretty good but if I were to order it again, I think I will ask for more Alfredo Sauce and sour cream. Their chicken wings were awesome and complimented the beer very well.
Afterwards we headed to the movies and watched Public Enemies and The Hangover. Public Enemies was okay but there was a lot of dead time and the movie was at least 2 and a half hours long. I felt that it stretched on forever and ever. There really was no insight to what type of person John Dillinger was. There was no history and the real reason why he was acting that way. I know it was during the depression but at least give us the reason why he was stealing a lot. Or maybe he just did it for fun. The Hangover was really funny, a little stupid but funny. The character Alan, I thought, made the movie funny. Without him, the movie would just be okay and would be a little annoying for me. All of the guys cheated on their girlfriends in one way or another. Makes me a little scared when guys go off to Vegas "for fun."
Our 4 year anniversary date was really low key but it was really fun. I must go back to BJs Brewhouse to try the Blonde beer.
